Suplais was born as a reflection of what Merlina's eyes see: colours from nature itself, inspiration from fruit and vegetable markets, vintage pieces and amorphous, organic and perfect shapes.
By chance, glass and its versatility appeared.
Together with local artisans, and looking to reuse old glass that was once a window, a chess piece or perhaps a vase, today Suplais seeks to reclaim the craft by creating unique and different pieces for you to use every day.
PS: Glass, like people, looks strong and tough and can be very vulnerable, that's the magic of polarity.
